For this project, I contributed to the gameplay programming by creating a bug-fixing the hacker’s minigames, particularly the arrow minigame to unlock certain containers.
I was also the audio programmer for his project. Working with the sound team, I developed and implemented systems that interfaced with Fmod to play sounds and music in the game world.
A particular challenge I faced for this project was splitting audio output from Fmod to two separate outputs on a single computer. To solve this, I cloned Fmod’s runtime manager and edited it to work alongside the first instance but output different sounds to a separate audio driver.
I used and became familiar with the following tools during development: GitHub, Trello, Oculus Quest 2, C#, Fmod, and Unity.
